    • From Steven E. Brummel:

      Alfred's fabled last trip home to Pilsen and his death by appendicitis on board ship. Cecilia Fox Brummel recounted going to the Manhattan ship terminal in 1929 on the day the Stock Market crashed to pick up the body. He was never married.

      Alfred Brummel lived with Rachel Abeles at one point. Rachel Abeles was the daughter of Emanuel Abeles.

      Samuel Engle was married to Gabrielle Schickel who was the daughter of Ludwig

      Schickel and Rachel Abeles. Again, I've a link to my Abeles family from, likely, Teplice.
