    Notes
    • Baltimore, May 31--One of the prettiest weddings of the season in Baltimore society was that of Miss Mary Leche Pendleton, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Nathan Smith Pendleton, to Herbert David Stitt of Hot Springs, Ark., which took place this evening at Emmanuel Protestant Episcopal Church. The rector, the Rev. J. Houston Eccleston, performed the ceremony. The maid of honor was Miss Ellen Frances Preston, and the bridesmaids were the Misses Mabelle Leatherman of Hot Springs, Ark.; Lucy Marshall Willis of Winchester, Va., and Mildred Dulany, Ellen Barker Patterson and Sarah Patterson Barker, of Baltimore.
Edward F. Handlon of St. Louis was best man. The ushers were A. E. C. Gracey of Little Rock, Ark., Griswold Thompson of New York, Frank L. Stitt of Hot Springs and Edward T. Jackson, Tilghman G. Pitts, and James Stuart Bond of Baltimore. A small reception followed at the residence of Mrs. Pendleton.
